Join me in the garden for a hands on floral workshop, hosted right here in the Dirt Road Flower Co garden site. We will spend the evening as a small group exploring the garden, learning about the growing process, and creating your own locally grown flower arrangement.

Everything from fillers to focal flowers will be pre-cut and conditioned for you, and ready to start designing! We will review basic arranging tips and tricks including colour theory, beginner-level design techniques, and how to care for your flowers.

Included:

- personalized beginner level instruction on arranging and flower care
- flower vase/mason jar and all florals for your take home arrangement

This workshop is a great way to spend time with your friends, a unique way to celebrate a birthday, or even as a team building opportunity to get out of the office.

It can take as long or short as you’d prefer, but you can expect to be here for anywhere between 1-1.5 hours.  Let your creativity flow and connect with nature!

Additional Information:

- workshop will take place outside, in the garden area. Please dress appropriately for the location and weather.  You will be notified if workshop is rescheduled due to weather.
- mosquitos are very active this year, please plan accordingly!

Flowers

Flowers you receive will be dependent on availability in the garden at the time of your order. The best blooms will be used, in a variety of seasonal flowers, colours, and textures.

Care Information

A few tips to keep your flowers fresh!

- Use a clean vase with fresh, cool water. If you wouldn’t drink out of it, don’t use it.
- Trim the stems gently and change the water every day or two.
- Keep them in a cool location, and consider keeping them in your fridge at night if your home is particularly warm in the summer.
- Remove wilted petals or stems, and avoid leaves in the water.
- Avoid sunny warm windows, fans, and AC vents.
